Police say a 13-year-old appears to be doing fine after falling 65 feet down an embankment in Pulaski County.

The rescue squad says the teenager was with a friend near Lake Cumberland Sunday when he fell.

It took several hours for 20 people to move him, person by person, around the cliff base.

Two inches of rain fell during that time.

The rescue squad says the boy was alert and talking during the rescue.
