A 13-year-old Rowan County boy was flown to UK Hospital Wednesday morning after police said he was hit by a car at his bus stop.
Police said just after 7 a.m. Scottie Ingle, 30, attempted to pass a stopped school bus and hit the boy as he was trying to get on his bus.
Ingle was arrested and is the Rowan County Jail. State Police said the accident remains under investigation.
