Teen Dies After Crash In Lexington

One person is dead after Lexington police said a car crashed head-on into a tractor trailer Tuesday afternoon.

Police said shortly after 12:30 p.m. a 1996 Toyota Camry crossed over the center lane on Georgetown Road at Spurr Road and slammed into a tractor trailer. Uriah Burke, the driver of the tractor trailer was unharmed. The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man from Georgetown was killed. His identity has not yet been released.

Lexington police said they aren't sure what caused the crash, but said the collision reconstruction unit is investigating.
