Dozens of Syrian-Americans living in Lexington gathered at Triangle Park in Lexington Saturday afternoon.

The group supports United States intervention in the war in the Middle East and hopes Congress will allow President Obama to use long range missiles and air strikes against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

Congress is expected to make to begin discussing whether to send troops to Syria next week.
