Students Speak Out About Bus Accident

Two students talk about their experience on a bus after it crashed on I-64 in Shelby County Tuesday.
Two teenagers who were on a bus carrying students from an Eastern Kentucky University visit are still shaken from the bus crash.

High school students, Brendan Ohern, and Timmy Coddington, recall hearing the front tire of the bus blow out, and said the bus immediantly started swerving, flew across three lanes of traffic, and hit a concrete barrier.

"The bottom of the seats came off the frames and were everywhere, there was stuff everywhere. There was blood," recalled Coddington.

Invesigators said 35 people on the bus were injured. Louisville police said they're looking into a possible mechanical failure as the cause of the crash.
