The student section at the NCAA championship game fills up the field level of the stadium.  They can barely see the court.

The section goes in between the bleachers and the courts.  The students are below the court, and the seats are all flat on the ground.  When people fill up the section, nobody can see.

And security does not allow kids to stand on the chairs.

The NCAA sent a statement saying, "While the student sections for the four teams are among the closest seats to the court, students are not required to sit there," said Erik Christianson, NCAA Spokesperson.
