UPDATE: Deputies Say Female HS Student Sent Threatening Texts

Deputies say a Pulaski County student sent threatening text messages that forced a lockdown at Southwestern High School.
Deputies arrested a Pulaski County student who they say sent threatening text messages that forced a school lockdown.

The Sheriff's Office says a 15-year-old girl sent texts Friday morning to three other students at Southwestern High School.

Investigators say the texts included shooting threats and descriptions of the clothes the girls were wearing at the time.

The school kept students in the same classrooms all day as a precaution.

Deputies say they tracked the messages to the 15-year-old girl.

She is charged with terroristic threatening, 2nd degree.
