As storms rumble through the Bluegrass, significant damage is being reported from numerous communities, including the town of Wilmore.

Fire crews said a building on Main Street, which holds a Subway on the bottom floor and seven apartments above, has sustained quite a bit of water and wind damage.

Aside from the roof being ripped off of the building, firefighters said rain water has been pouring out of the upper residences and into the Subway.

A tarp has been placed over the roof as people try to clear out the apartments.

Storms are also being blamed for a nearby tree that was uprooted.
