Mike Patel worked at the Marathon gas station on Alexandria Drive for more than 2 years before he was shot there Monday afternoon.

The store's owner, Harry Singh, says Patel was a hard-working man who was well-liked by everyone.

Singh believes Patel didn't have any enemies and that the shooting was the result of the robbery.

According to the owner, Patel leaves behind a wife and two kids.

The gas station will remain closed until after Patel's funeral.
