The football Cats are improving.

Yep.  After a 31-point loss, at home this past Saturday to Missouri, Kentucky got better.  At least head coach Mark Stoops sees it that way.

After looking at the tape on Sunday, Stoops said his team is close to 80 percent good coaching and execution and 20 percent a lack of delivering across the board on at least one level.  That results in giving up big plays, and eventually losses.

UK leads the conference in field goal percentage at 11 of 12 on the season.  Other than that, the Cats best ranking is a mid-pack 7th in pass defense.

So what would Stoops say to a frustrated Solid Blue fan expecting more this season, especially on the scoreboard?
