A search for stolen vehicles in Lexington overnight led to suspects that made a run for it.

The investigation led police to the Shell gas station on South Limestone after 1 a.m. Friday.

That is where officers found two stolen vehicles side by side at the gas pumps.

Police say at least three men around the vehicles noticed the officers, and took off running. Authorities are still searching for those men.
