State Trooper Injured In Collision In Corbin

Investigators say a State Trooper was hurt Friday night in a collision in Corbin.

It happened around 5pm on US 25.

Investigators say Trooper Alfred Bunch was was headed south when a woman failed to yield the right away and drove into his path.

They later identified the driver as 46-year-old Anita Beutler of Ohio.

State Police say Trooper Bunch had minor injuries and was treated at a local hospital and released.

Investigators say Beutler and a female passenger in the car were not hurt.

They say a second, male passenger suffered a minor injury but refused medical treatment.

No word yet if Beutler will be cited in the crash.
