State Police Offer Free Motorcycle Safety Seminar

KSP is offering a free motorcycle safety training seminar on May 17th at KSP Headquarters in Frankfort.
Kentucky State Police is offering a free motorcycle safety training seminar on Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at KSP Headquarters, located at 919 Versailles Road in Frankfort.

The seminar will be taught by a Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) RiderCoach who will utilize MSF curriculum for this training seminar.

Topics will include proper gear, tips for new and seasoned riders and sharing the road with motorists.

The training will be performed in a classroom setting and not require the student to have a bike.

Bruce Young from Frankfort will teach the seminar.

This class is not a substitute for the required motorcycle examination course for riders to obtain a Kentucky motorcycle license.

The class is free to the first 100 people who register.
