State Police Looking For Fifth Graders To Compete In Contest

Kentucky State police invite students to compete in a national contest.
Kentucky State Police are looking for talented young artists.

K-S-P is asking fifth grade students to create a poster for the national missing children's day in Washington D.C. The theme of this year's contest is "Bring Our Missing Children Home." The poster must be 8 1/2 X 14". The theme of the contest must also appear on the poster.

Once kids are finished they can send their final product to KSP Public Affairs Branch, 919 Versailles Road, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. They will choose a state winner. A national winner will also be chosen in Washington D.C. That winner will receive a free trip to our nation's capital along with a savings bond.

State police say they hope the contest brings awareness to the number of children who go missing every year.
