State Police Launch 'Text A Tip' Program

State Police have launched a new program called "Text A Tip".
You can now stop crime by simply sending a text message.
Kentucky State Police launch a new program called "Text A Tip" where citizens can text criminal activity from their cell phones.
"Text A Tip" is completely confidential and easy to use.
You simple text 67283, then type KSP TIP in the message field, followed by space and the information about the crime.

State Police says for emergencies and situations that need assistance
immediately, you should still use 911.
They also urge you not to text and drive...Instead, simply pull over safely, then send your tip.
KSP thinks "Text A Tip" will quickly gain popularity and ultimately stop more crime.
