ABC 36 News confirms that a Lexington day care is being investigated by the state.

A statement from KinderCare's parent company says Child Protective Services visited the center Tuesday to investigate the allegation that a teacher picked up a child in an incorrect manner...and the child ended up being scratched.
The statement says the teacher is on administrative leave while this is investigated.
