The community of Stanton came together for the 24th year in a row to celebrate corn.

Today there was a corn eating contest and a Miss Corn Festival Pageant among other activities like live music and craft sales.

While corn is what drew people to the event, organizers say it was really about drawing people together.

The festival also included a 5K run, clogging performances, and a cornhole tournament.
