Special Olympic Athletes in Central Kentucky competed in a regional softball tournament today.

24 teams competed, including a first year team from Scott County.

Even coordinators say this tournament wouldn’t be possible without the volunteers.

Every athlete will leave the tournament with either a ribbon for participation or medal for top placements.
