After more than two years of uncertainty a Madison County woman was finally laid to rest Saturday.

Sonsaray Warford's family reported her missing in June of 2010 and this morning they came together to remember her life.

Her body along with the body of her boyfriend Charles Walker was found in a Richmond field in March of this year but police say she was murdered soon after her disappearance.

Court documents say a drug dealer Jakolbe Chenault hired two men to kill the couple because he thought walker owed him money.

Warford's remains were just released to the family.

Walker's funeral will be held next week
