Son Of Scott County Basketball Coach Dies After Crash

Tyler Hicks, 27, son of Scott County basketball coach Billy Hicks died Friday morning at UK Hospital.

State Police said Hicks was critically injured in a crash in Mercer County, along the Bluegrass Parkway Tuesday night. Hicks was an army soldier driving back to Fort Knox where he was stationed.

Hicks was part of his father's basketball team that made it to the Final Four in 2004.
