It's the largest dry city in Kentucky. But that's about to change.

Tuesday, voters in Somerset voted to allow alcohol sales. The vote was 2,167 yes, and 1,464 no. That's a percentage of 59.7% to 40.3%

The vote means qualifying restaurants will be able to serve liquor, once the law goes into effect. Package liquor sales will also be allowed.
