People in Somerset held a vigil tonight for Michael and Angela Hockensmith. The Hockensmiths were shot and killed at a pawn shop in Danville last month.
Michael’s mother, Barbara Lewis, said they held a second vigil so friends and family in Somerset could honor the couple.
The first vigil was in Danville and Lewis said not everyone could travel there.
Lewis said the community has been very supportive during this time. She also said there hasn’t been any closure – even during events like today’s candlelight vigil.
Police arrested and charged Kenneth Allen Keith, a Pulaski County Pastor, for the triple homicide. He pleaded not guilty earlier this week.
