Some Alcohol Activities Banned At U.K. Tailgates

U.K. President Eli Capilouto has announced a new ban on alcohol for non-reserved tailgating spots.
There will be a lot less alcohol at U.K.'s game against South Carolina on Saturday.

University students received an email Thursday that said there would be an alcohol ban for non-reserved tailgating spots. This affects areas in along Copper Drive, Sports Center Drive, and University Drive. School officials are citing a recent fight at a game where two students and a police man were hurt as the reason.

Students have mixed reaction to the news. Some say they won't be impacted because they don't drive, while others say they will still find a way to get alcohol at the game.

School administrations say this is a week by week study, and that they are searching for the best way to keep students safe.
