Solid Blue Fans are reacting to the news that Nerlens Noel will no longer be suiting up with his team after he tore his ACL.

During “The Sports Huddle” on ESPN Sports Radio 1300, fans tried to predict what’s in store for the rest of the season.

One fan said he is devastated by the news and thought Noel was a terrific basketball talent. Another fan added that we lost a good man and will miss him.

With Noel out, fans are also wondering if this will hurt UK’s chances of making it into the NCAA Tournament:

“I just don't know if we're going to be even a mid level contender by the end of the year.”

“Yea, we’ll go. We'll win three of the five.”

“We're looking at seven more games in the SEC and the SEC tournament. So yea, I think this team has an excellent chance of making it into the tournament.”

And the final topic on Wednesday’s show: one and done. Should Noel have been able to go straight to the pros?

“Turning pro right out of high school. And he would have already had that money. And he was probably good enough to get it too.”

Host of the Sports Huddle, Chris Cross, said he thinks Noel’s injury will help the team a little tougher, and hopes the team will ban together and play a little more team basketball.
