Not a red shirt could be seen in this sea of blue at Buffalo Wild Wings at Todd Center Thursday night...as Solid Blue fans watched the Kentucky Wildcats claw past the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

"I was really impressed with how they played.  I thought Jones was all over it.  I thought davis and Miller were all over it.  I was kind of upset that we were letting them score a little bit and we were kind of just tiring out towards the 2nd half but I think if we can play that way for the rest of the season and win the tournament, we'll do great," says Zach Thompson.

The game may have even converted a young fan who is split between the Florida Gators and the Kentucky Wildcats...she says she likes a winner.

"I thought it was cool.  I 'm kind of between Kentucky and Florida but if Florida's not really playing that much then I go for Kentucky," explains Olivia Thompson.

And many Solid Blue fans were thankful that this game wasn't another nail-biter.

"We were at the SEC tournament and I think that that has been a good experience for them because it prepared them mentally and physically to endure the tournament length," comments Brent Canady.

Now, the Cats are just five wins away from bringing #8 back to Kentucky.
