It has now been six months since Bardstown Police Officer Jason Ellis was shot and killed in Nelson County.

Police are still receiving tips, but no arrests have been made. State Police released a video earlier this month asking for help from the public in finding Ellis’ killer.

Troopers say Ellis was on his way home on May 25th when he was shot and killed on The Bluegrass Parkway when he stopped to remove some debris from the road.

The reward in the case has topped $200,000.
