Scattered showers will continue to cross the area from southwest to northeast this afternoon with very mild air in place. Low pressure will continue to slide from the Midwest toward the Great Lakes. Along with the showers, an isolated thunderstorm or two will be possible late this afternoon, especially in southern Kentucky. Highs will be in the upper 60s today, but the remainder of the week, through next weekend will be even warmer with highs in the lower to middle 70s. A series of weak disturbances will cross the area, and with warm, relatively humid air in place, spotty shower and thunderstorms will occur. Most of Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry, but rain chances will climb as humidity levels rise late in the week and into the weekend.
