Should Government Ban Assault Rifles?

One local gun shop owner says the only way to stop school shootings is to arm teachers and administrators.
Anti-gun groups and even some of the nation's leaders are starting to call for more gun restrictions following the school shooting in Connecticut last Friday.

Some are proposing a ban of all assault rifles, like the one the shooter used in Sandy Hook Elementary.

Chuck Bradley who owns the 'Shooters Connection,' a gun shop in Georgetown  specializing in competition-style rifles, says banning assault rifles wont stop these kinds of shootings from happening, and feels the lack of firearms at schools is why they're targeted so often in mass shootings.

Bradley believes schools should have administrators or teachers who can carry firearms in the buildings.

He feels these teachers should be required to take special training courses similar to what police are trained in.

Bradley says if legislation passes that would ban such types of rifles, then his business and the sport of competition shooting would fail.
