Shots Fired Into Home While Two People Were Inside

A family was inside their home when bullets came rushing through their window.

The Lexington Police say that a man had just gotten off work when bullets came flying through his home at Cambridge Place Apartments.

It incident happened around 9:30 Friday morning.

Officials say that a man driving a blue car drove by the home and shot 4 times into the apartment and then kept driving.

The family that was at home were not injured.

Police say the family had not lived there for very long so it could have been a case of mistaken identity.

Officials are still looking for the suspect.
