Shot Fired Into Lexington Restaurant

Police are investigating after officers said someone fired a gun at a Lexington restaurant.

Officers said employees were inside Wing Zone just after midnight Wednesday.

According to the workers, a man came up the store after it was closed, knocked on the front door and tried to get inside.

Employees said the man turned away when they would not let him in, and that's when a shot was fired through the front window.

Police said they aren't sure if the the man was the one who fired the shot or if it was someone else.

They said the employees ran into a back room and hid until police arrived.

No one was hurt.

A bullet was recovered at the scene, according to police.
