A man is in jail after police said he fired a shot inside a Lexington home.

It happened just after 12:30 a.m. Thursday at a home on Darley Drive.

Police said a situation turned violent after Duquoin Webb, 30, brought a gun to the home to try to collect money from a drug deal.

Police said Webb threatened the victim and even fired a shot while the victim and his brother were nearby.

When police arrived, they said Webb tried to hide the gun by taking off his pants in the bathroom before he was arrested.

Webb is in the Fayette County Detention Center charged with robbery, wanton endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.

No one was hurt in the incident.
