From bright blinking lights to those blow-up inflatable santas, it turns out we're getting a lot more merry with holiday decorations this year.

The National Retail Federation started tracking sales numbers in 2005.

It says U.S. consumers will spend $6 billion on decorations this year.

It's the most we've shelled out in 7 years.
