Convicted sex offender Brian Lee Jackson, 26, of Waco, was arrested Friday for reportedly living in Boyle County even though he's on the sex offender registry as living in Madison County, according to a published report in the Danville Advocate Messenger newspaper.

The report said Jackson was found in an apartment off South Lucas Street in Junction City.

The newspaper reported that Jackson was charged with failure to comply with sex offender registration-first offense.

He was held in the Boyle County Detention Center.

The Sheriff said Jackson had been living at several different locations in Boyle County, according to the published report.
