Afternoon thunderstorms have begun to develop along a cold front that is sliding into the Bluegrass. These storms will expand in coverage as they shift south, into southern and southeastern Kentucky this evening.  Some of the storms could become severe during the afternoon, with straight-line winds and large hail very possible.  After a high of 77°, we'll quickly cool down to a low of 45° tonight.  High pressure will provide a pleasant, bright and cooler Thursday.  The active weather pattern will continue on Friday with another round of scattered, strong to potentially severe thunderstorms.  Those showers and thunderstorms will end early on Saturday, but the break may not last long, as another round of showers and thunderstorms will be likely late Sunday and into Monday.  Sharply cooler air will arrive on Tuesday of next week, along with potentially a few isolated, leftover showers.
