Severe Storms Tear Down Trees In Central Kentucky

Severe Storms spread across central Kentucky this afternoon causing trees to fall down in Lexington.

A tree that fell across Bowman Mill Road blocked the street for a few hours.

The National Weather Service also reporter a large tree limb that fell on a car in Lexington and tore down some power lines in Jessamine County.

Kentucky Utiliites reported several power outages after the storm.
