Senator Republican Leader Mitch McConnell criticized a liberal PAC Saturday night for a tweet they posted about his wife.
Progress Kentucky posted a tweet last week about McConnell’s marriage to his wife, Former Labor Secretary Elaine Chao, that said, “May explain why your job moved to #China.”
While in Winchester Saturday night, McConnell told ABC 36, “I think it underscores the sleaze that we're going to be subjected to going into reelection. Racial slurs, questioning our patriotism… This is exactly the kind of thing we expect from our political opponent.”
