Kentucky's senior senator toured the storm damage in West Liberty Sunday.

Senator Mitch McConnell says the town might be in ruins, but the people's spirit will carry them through.

"These are tough folks. They want to rebuild this town," McConnell said. "They will rebuild this town, and we're going to help them."

West Liberty was hit by an EF3 tornado, with winds that topped 135 miles per hour.
