Sen. Mitch McConnell Banks $6 Million For 2014 Campaign

Senator Mitch McConnell of  Kentucky has $6 million six million in the bank for his re-election bid in 2014.

But he doesn't have an opponent yet.

McConnell says he expects the Democrats to nominate a good candidate and he wants to be ready.

McConnell will be running for his sixth term.

In 2008 he spent $20 million and beat Bruce Lunsford by 6 percentage points.
