A section of KY 89 near the Trapp community in Clark County will be closed from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at mile point 5.9 on January 3, 2013, for construction work.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 7 suggests motorists use the alternate route of KY 82 in Powell and Estill counties to KY 15. There will be other ways around the closure as well.
The closure is subject to change due to weather.
