A man was arrested in Lexington Wednesday in connection with an October murder.

Delvegio Lax, 29, was arrested just before noon and he is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.

Lax is charged with criminal facilitation to murder in connection to the shooting death of Anthony Beaumont, Jr.

Beaumont was shot and killed outside of the Lexington Northpoint Health Care Center on October 2.

Maurice Ward, Jr., 21, has already been charged with murder in the case.

Ward was brought to Lexington after he was arrested in Tennessee in October.

Police said Ward shot Beaumont multiple times following a fight in the Northpoint parking lot, then took off.

According to court documents, Lax knowingly provided Ward with the means and opportunity to commit murder.

Court documents also said that Lax provided transportation for Ward to leave the scene.

Lax has been in trouble with the law before.

Lexington court officials confirmed that he previously faced drug and weapons charges in 2010.
