An area of weak low pressure will continue to slide east across the northern Ohio Valley, and Kentucky will remain dry, aside from only a few isolated sprinkles or flurries to the northeast this afternoon and early evening.  Highs will be in the low 40s today and tomorrow, which is average for mid to late January.  A larger storm system will arrive on Friday, producing rain across the area in the evening and overnight into Saturday.  Most of the area will only see liquid rain, but a few hours of light freezing rain will be possible in far northern or northeastern Kentucky when precipitation begins.  Rain will exit on Saturday with the chance for a brief flurry or two in northern Kentucky late on Saturday.  Sunday will be milder with highs into the 50s.  The active pattern will continue as yet another round of rain arrives on Sunday evening into Monday morning.  Tuesday should be relatively mild and dry.  More showers will develop on Wednesday as a front draws near.
