Lexington Police said a man robbed a gas station tonight with a butcher knife.

According to officers, a man dressed in all black walked into the Shell Station at Versailles Road and Alexandria Drive.

They said he approached the cashier and demanded the money from the cash register.

Police said after getting some cash, he ran off toward Woodridge Apartments.

Officers said they are looking closely at the surveillance video from this robbery because they believe it could be connected to a robbery at the same Shell Station on Monday.

If you have any information, call police.
