Scott Co. Schools Get Energy Award

Scott County is thinking green and winning an award for it.

The district, and some of its schools, won the EPA Energy Star Top Performer Award Tuesday for saving energy.

The superintendent says this project exceeded her expectations. In two years, the school saved more than 700-thousand dollars in energy costs. That money went back into the school system.
