The school year will end at least two days later than originally planned in the Fayette County Public School system due to the recent cancellation of classes because of snow and extreme cold.

The last day of school is now scheduled for May 30, 2014.

In addition to the two days added to the end of the school calendar, students will also have school on Friday, April 25, 2014, which was originally scheduled as a day off.

High school graduation dates won't be scheduled until early spring.
