School Letter Addresses Incident

Lafayette High School's principal sent a letter to parents Thursday, describing an incident involving a student.

Principal Vicki Ritchie says a student looked at a website that contained images of school violence. Ritchie's letter says there is no reason to think any students are in danger, but the school system is taking appropriate disciplinary action, and the campus will have extra police officers, in an effort to reassure everyone.
