Scattered showers continue moving eastward out of Kentucky throught the overnight and leaving mostly dry conditions for the morning commute.  Fog and muggy conditions likely early with rain developing in central and eastern Kentucky by the afternoon.  Isolated thunderstorms should not be ruled out for the afternoon in eastern Kentucky as well. We will start Thursday with temperatures near 60° and mostly cloudy skies and fog is some areas.

A few more scattered rain showers, and possibly a couple storms, will again be possible during the day Thursday. Warm and muggy conditions will persist with afternoon highs in the low 70s. Widespread severe weather is not expected.

Cooler and drier air will build in for Friday! With the exception of a few showers in eastern Kentucky, the day will be dry with mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will only climb into the mid 60s.
