State Police say a man accused of murdering a Russell County jogger is now also charged with raping her.

Troopers say a grand jury Tuesday indicted 28-year-old Christopher Allman on the new charge.

Allman is accused of killing 31-year old Sarah Hart on June 14th while she was out for a morning run.

Police say Allman strangled Hart to death then tried to hide her body off a field near US 127 in Jamestown.

He's facing several charges including murder, robbery, kidnapping and tampering with evidence.

Police say that because Hart was pregnant when she was killed, Allman is also accused of fetal homicide.

He's facing the death penalty in the case.
