You can work off some weight on June 10th.

Blue Grass Airport will close down a runway and let people walk on it for exercise. This isn't the first time. Councilmember Jay McChord help make this happen, and he says the idea is a Lexington original.

"This wasn't something we found out of Louisville or Northern Kentucky, or Frankfort told us to do it," McChord told ABC 36 News. "Lexington created this, and the state followed along. Communities like Lexington now are looking for ways to use different infrastructure for physical activity that maybe people haven't thought of."

This is called "Second Sunday." The runway will be closed from one to five on June 10th, while the rest of the airport functions normally.
