Runners Remember Boston Bombing Victims At Louisville Marathon

Racers and spectators observed a moment of silence at the starting line.
Increased security didn't stop runners from today's Kentucky Derby Marathon.

18,000 people ran that race and the mini-marathon that accompanied it.

The race began with a moment of silence to remember those killed and hurt before the Boston Marathon.

Runners also wore yellow and blue ribbons to honor the victims.

The Great Balloon Race was also part of Saturday's Derby Festival events.
