A Wednesday memorial service will honor Mike Haydon, the late chief of staff to Governor Steve Beshear. Haydon died Sunday at the age of 62.
Visitation will begin at 2:30 in the Capitol Rotunda. A service is planned for 3:30.
Another visitation is planned for Thursday in Haydon's hometown of Springfield. That's from four to eight p.m. at the Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home at 221 East Main Street. The funeral will be Friday at St. Dominic Church in Springfield. Haydon is a former mayor of Springfield.
